Registration for the Future Day at Meyer & Meyer
Giving schoolchildren an early insight into the world of work is the aim of the Future Day, which has been running since 2001 as a nationwide action programme. The traditional, gender-specific spectrum of possible occupations for girls and boys is to be expanded. Girls, for example, should have the opportunity to get to know "typical male occupations" in technology and the natural sciences, while boys should discover the more "typical female occupations", for example in nursing and education. The Meyer & Meyer locations in Osnabrück, Peine and Lehrte have also been taking part in Future Day for years, offering interested schoolchildren a varied morning on 26th March 2020 with guided tours of the warehouse, typical logistics games and much more. The programme runs from 9-13:30. If available, participants can optionally visit their parents or contact person at work in the afternoon and look over their shoulders as they go about their daily work.
We are looking forward to many participants. At the Osnabrück location, 20 people can participate, at the Peine and Lehrte location the number of participants is limited to 12 people. Please click here for the registration form.
