Meyer & Meyer uses trailers and the particularly flexible swap bodies for its transports. And because every detail has to be right for us, Meyer & Meyer is now using a new, innovative swap body from the company XBond in Ahaus. The load carrier developed by XBond was precisely tailored to the requirements for the transport of fashion and automotive goods by our impulses from the user's point of view. Thanks to full galvanization, it offers protection against corrosion and thus ensures particularly high robustness and durability with low maintenance and repair costs. The case also has a very low weight and thus also ensures a reduction in fuel consumption. The design has also been optimized: The entire body consists of large so-called "cassettes" and thus has fewer interfering edges than the swap bodies previously used by Meyer & Meyer. And of course, our customers' valuable goods are safe and well protected on the road - whether in Europe or North Africa. "We are very pleased to have found a partner of equal standing in the family-owned company XBond, with whom we were able to tackle this project. We now have a case in use that offers us and our customers optimal transport conditions," says a delighted Robert Justenhoven, Head of Resources and Analytics at Meyer & Meyer. "Meyer & Meyer shares important values and a partnership for passionate solutions with the family-owned company XBond."
Innovative load carrier for fashion & automotive
When it comes to transport, one classically thinks of the 6 Rs of logistics: the right material, at the right time, at the right place, in the right quantity, in the right quality and at the right cost. As a full-service logistics provider, however, Meyer & Meyer's task goes much further: we think not only about how, where and when, but also about "in what".
