DMEXCO is one of the most important European trade fairs for digital business and therefore an annual meeting place for all important decision-makers from the digital economy, marketing and innovation. Meyer & Meyer was present in Cologne for the first time on 12th and 13th September 2018

DMEXCO is one of the most important European trade fairs for digital business and therefore an annual meeting place for all important decision-makers from the digital economy, marketing and innovation. Meyer & Meyer was present in Cologne for the first time on 12th and 13th September 2018 and presented itself to over 41,000 visitors on an 80 m² booth.  Highlighting the keywords "Fulfillment", "Online Shops", "Omnichannel" and "Logistics", the booth concept represented the entire digital business model of Meyer & Meyer and also integrated the sub-exhibitors EVEN ON SUNDAY as an interdisciplinary agency for marketing, technology and e-commerce, Orendt Studios as a visual content professional as well as the start-up "smirror", which was on site with an intelligent mirror and represented the idea of the digitally extended shop counter.


Many visitors and relaxed conversations

 

"The Meyer & Meyer booth was very well frequented. Our mindball game, in which the players move a ball in the direction of the opponent by means of thought power, was a particularly large crowd-puller. Many visitors then wanted to learn more about Meyer & Meyer and so interesting conversations took place", reports Martin Enkrodt, Project Manager Omnichannel.  For longer discussions, the booth visitors were able to retreat to a lounge corner with members of our trade fair team and get advice on Meyer & Meyer's B2B and B2C services over coffee or soft drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether questions about shop management, customer service, fulfillment or a live demonstration of our order management system: our sales and omnichannel experts took their time for everyone interested. In the afternoons, beer and pretzels were served at the end of the two days of the trade fair and there was another chance for relaxed networking and exchange about the digital trends shown at DMEXCO. After two days of booth operation, initiator Judith Kemper, Head of Omnichannel, draws a positive conclusion: "Our stand with its open concept was very well received by the visitors and we were definitely able to create awareness for Meyer & Meyer as a fulfilment service provider in the e-commerce sector. Now we will follow up the contacts made at DMEXCO and examine potential collaborations. A big thank you in any case to all visitors and interested parties who visited us at our booth."
