WKS und Eurofins establish joint venture
Even more possibilities in the field of professional laboratory services for fashion customers: This is the idea behind the cooperation between the Meyer & Meyer subsidiary WKS Textilveredlungs-GmbH from Wilsum and Eurofins.
Eurofins is a leading international laboratory group with a global network in over 40 countries. The company has textile laboratories in Europe, Asia and the USA and has a high level of expertise in the field of chemical testing. The WKS laboratories have a pronounced testing competence, particularly in the textile-physical sector, which goes far beyond the typical laboratory portfolio - from the assessment of damage to textiles to the identification and elimination of production faults.
Since 1st December 2017, the strengths of both companies have been bundled in the newly founded company "Eurofins WKS Labservice GmbH". Thomas Herrmann from Eurofins and WKS-COO Jörg Brune are the managing directors of the new company based in Wilsum.
The new company is a textile testing laboratory accredited according to ISO 17025 and offers competent laboratory testing, fast lead times and interesting test packages.
