"We are very pleased that Frauke Heistermann will be supporting us in the future," says Theresa Meyer, CTO at Meyer & Meyer. "As an entrepreneur, investor and founder, she brings great experience from the fields of logistics, digitalisation and new technologies. This makes her a perfect fit for our supervisory board." Her appointment is in line with Meyer & Meyer's strategic goal of making the transport and warehouse logistics divisions even more market-oriented. The aim is to implement today's customer requirements in an agile manner and to design future services now.
Frauke Heistermann takes the place of Thomas Müllerschön on the Meyer & Meyer supervisory board. Müllerschön left the board as chairman and member in spring 2023. Since then, Ortwin Nast has chaired the supervisory board. Ortwin Nast was CEO of the transport and logistics company Hoyer Group for more than 14 years until the beginning of 2021 and is now a member of the supervisory board, investor and consultant. Rolf Meyer remains Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In addition, the board consists of Dietmar Hemsath, CFO (Chief Financial Officer) | BU Mobility at Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH, and Prof. Dr Ingmar Ickerott, Professor of Logistics Management and Dean at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
Frauke Heistermann is a new member of the Supervisory Board at Meyer & Meyer
With the appointment of Frauke Heistermann, Meyer & Meyer's five-member supervisory board is complete. The Osnabrück-based transport and warehouse logistics company used the past months to realign the board. Heistermann, a logistics and digitalisation expert, will primarily be involved in the strategic focus areas of online trade and digitalisation, according to a company statement.
