Fashion logistician presents technological solution at German trade congress
Osnabrück, 10/11/2017. The Osnabrück-based fashion logistics specialist Meyer & Meyer is nlarging its service portfolio and expands the Omnichannel business area. Since mid-2017, Judith Kemper has been responsible for the newly implemented area in this form in the function of Head of Omnichannel. At the German Retail Congress on 15 November 2017 in Berlin, the company will present a technological platform for the implementation of Omnichannel solutions.
"We see the further digitalization and in particular the intelligent networking of online shops and branches as well as the associated fulfillment for our customers as a major investment in the future and as a complement to our "From Sheep to Shop" service portfolio, says Meyer & Meyer CEO Jan Weber. For the implementation of intelligent Omnichannel solutions, the company has brought Judith Kemper, an experienced expert with more than ten years of experience in various functions in the e-commerce and fulfillment environment, into the team. As Head of Omnichannel, she reports directly to Jan Weber. In addition to process knowledge, the key to the successful implementation of complex Omnichannel solutions is above all powerful and custom-fit IT solutions. "We have currently implemented the necessary technological solutions - from order management systems to financial solutions to customer service. In selecting the technology, it was particularly important for us to be able to connect to the POS systems for Click & Collect at the point of sale and to play out orders for the Pick & Pack in the store," says Judith Kemper.
At the German Retail Congress on 15 November 2017 in Berlin, all interested parties will have the opportunity to convince themselves of the technological solution used by the fashion logistics company.
