CEO Jan Weber leaves the company
The Osnabrück-based fashion logistics company Meyer & Meyer is completing the generation change that began three and a half years ago: Maximilian Meyer, son of the shareholder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Michael Meyer, is appointed to the Management Board as the new Chief Sales Officer (CSO) in July 2019. His sister Theresa Meyer will join the company as responsible for Corporate Development. The current CEO Jan Weber will leave the company with completed task by mutual agreement at the end of June 2019. In January 2016, Jan Weber assumed responsibility as the first nonfamily member of the Management Board to take the fashion logistics company to the next level of development, to make it fit for the future and to initiate a generation change. The associated process has now been completed and Jan Weber is devoting himself to new tasks. "We thank Jan Weber for an intensive three and a half years and for his contribution to the company's success," says Michael Meyer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. "At the same time, we wish him all the best, both professionally and privately, and every success for the future. Jan Weber will be available for Meyer & Meyer in an advisory capacity until autumn 2019.
New management trio
Maximilian Meyer is appointed to the Management Board as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) , joining the current Management Board members Peter Schnitzler (CFO) and Max Westermann (COO). He has already been with the company for three years and has been prepared for his new role as Key Account Manager and Management Assistant. The company will not appoint a new CEO for the time being. "Our goal is to distribute responsibility within the company and to manage it in a collegial manner. We look forward to working together as partners and exchanging ideas constructively in this trio," says Maximilian Meyer. Theresa Meyer will also join the family business in July 2019. As a management consultant, the 29-year-old has gathered expertise in the areas of digitisation, sales, marketing and change management and will be responsible for corporate development at Meyer & Meyer.
