The programme included a visit to the "Fledder-Mäuse" - Osnabrück's first crèche - a short company presentation and a tour of the logistics hall for flat packed goods. Here, the guests had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of fashion logistics and to experience live how, for example, the logistics processes in the end customer business look like.
In addition to the diverse service portfolio, the talks also focused on the changes in the fast-moving fashion industry and sustainable projects, such as Meyer & Meyer's commitment to e-mobility and as an employer.
For Mayor Griesert, Meyer & Meyer is an example for many strong family businesses in Osnabrück: "The company operates successfully in a very fast moving market. At the same time, it has been loyal to the Osnabrück location for more than 100 years and is an important employer who takes exemplary care of its employees. The company crèche, which Meyer & Meyer operates together with the Catholic parish of St. Anthony in Osnabrück-Voxtrup, is an excellent example of this," says Griesert.
