Gunnar Stüber speaks at trans-aktuell symposium

In mid-September, a symposium titled "Maximum efficiency in volume transport",  of the journal "trans aktuell" took place in Brake, Lower Saxony. One of seven speakers was Gunnar Stüber, Regional Manager at Meyer & Meyer. In his presentation, he showed how Meyer & Meyer benefits in practice from jumbo transports. Volume efficiency is of enormous importance in fashion logistics, especially for hanging textiles. These are very light, but require a lot of space: the best requirement for the use of volume equipment. Using concrete figures, he showed visitors how the use of XXL-equipment can reduce the number of vehicles required. Volume transport is carried out with the highest quality and reliability. In addition to the economic advantages, the mega trailers above all offer advantages in terms of sustainability: At Meyer & Meyer, every 10th tour becomes climate-neutral through the use of XXL trains. "I was delighted to receive an invitation from trans aktuell. It was an exciting day, which showed the advantages of volume transports in different facets", says Gunnar Stüber.
